The deficiency of Diesel engine regarding to the hard starting at low temperatures or with a cold engine was solved by the preheating of the fuel-air mixture in the precombustion or combustion chamber through a resistance converting the electrical energy into heat.
The glowing elements of these plugs (the filament or the sheath) reaching at a pre-heating temperature of 850 C to 1100 C determine the preignition of the fuel-air mixture. At custom demand we are able to manufacture also other types of glow plugs.
